Description
The Viemylu JET-100 self-priming pump is a single-stage centrifugal pump with a cast iron body, designed to bring water where it is needed and keep it under pressure. It is the type of pump paired with a pressure tank: a system that supplies pressurized water to household taps, the vegetable garden or a small irrigation system.
The manufacturer lists it for household use, industrial installations, irrigation and agriculture. It is a sensible choice when the water supply does not guarantee enough pressure, when water is drawn from a tank located lower than the pump or when high and constant pressure is needed to water an orchard or a large garden.
Being self-priming, after the pump body is first filled it is able to draw water on its own: the suction line does not need to be filled by hand at every start. The cast iron body is a sturdy and traditional material for water pumps, and the manufacturer lists energy efficiency among the advantages. It is a single-stage machine, so its operation is straightforward.
